UUM AND MACQUARIE UNIVERSITY DISCUSS POTENTIAL COLLABORATION OPPORTUNITIES

UUM ONLINE: Center for International Affairs and Cooperation (CIAC) sees great potential for collaboration between Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) and Macquarie University (MQ), Australia.

The Director of CIAC, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Arpah Abu Bakar said, her working visit with the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Haim Hilman Abdullah to Australia recently became a platform to continue the internationalization agenda at UUM.

Following that, CIAC has arranged a further discussion session via online involving the Course Director for Bachelor of Finance from MQ, Dr. Lurion De Mello and representatives from the School of Economics, Finance and Banking (SEFB).

Collaborative proposals are in the form of mobility programs, articulation programs, and even joint research.

Among those presence in the discussion was the Deputy Director of CIAC, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Asmat Nizam Abdul Talib; Deputy Dean (Research and Innovation), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rasidah Mohd Rashid; Deputy Dean (Student and Alumni Affairs), Dr. Zalina Zainal and Deputy Dean of Academic, Dr. Diara Md. Jadi.
